Katrina Strickland Deputy Editor, Australian Financial Review Magazine

Col and Helge share the views of many artists and galleries about the lack of critical
reporting on current exhibitions by contemporary artists and they will talk about their
perceptions of how the landscape has changed. But is there another side to the story – are
online blogs, social media sites doing the job that formal reviews once did? Or is there really
a vacuum of criticism making it difficult for artists and galleries, particularly commercial
galleries, to engage with a broader audience? If so, why has this happened and where are
we going?

Plenty of street parking available, but
SEATS ARE LIMITED – COME EARLY!
