Natasha Walsh interview on Talking With Painters and Mosman Art Prize artist talk

November 7, 2018

Natasha Walsh is the most recent artist invited to record an interview with Maria Stoljar on the podcast Talking With Painters for episode 58. You can listen to the interview by clicking on the image above or the link below.

“Natasha Walsh is one of Australia’s most exciting emerging artists. A few months ago, over a period of about 12 weeks, she won three prestigious art awards; the Kilgour Prize, the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship and the Mosman Art Prize. She’s also been a finalist in the Archibald Prize for the last 3 years in a row with stunning self portraits. And she’s only 24. But the road to this success has not been smooth … and she speaks openly about those experiences and how they have impacted her fascinating self portraits.”

You can also hear from Natasha in person this weekend at the Mosman Art Gallery. Join the winning artists from the 2018 Mosman Art Prize for an afternoon conversation with Jane Gillespie at 3PM this Sunday 11.11.18. Hear from Natasha and Zoe Young (Winner of the Margaret Olley Commendation Award) about their personal creative journeys, insights into their art practices, and the artworks in the exhibition.
