LOCUST JONES is part of ‘Through your eyes’, an exhibition held at the Korean Cultural Office from 18 April to 29 June 2012. Five Australian artists (Locust Jones, Yvonne Boag, Larissa Hjorth, Geoff Robinson, Giles Ryder) and three Korean artists (Yong-sun Suh, the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea’s Artist of the Year 2009, Yong-seok Oh and Jeong-hoo Lee) explore how Australia is depicted by Korean artists and how Korea is described through the eyes of Australian artists. Artists from both countries have had the chance to experience their reciprocal cultures through residency programs.
