Locust Jones in ‘as far as the eye can see’ at Noosa Regional Gallery

September 21, 2018

Locust Jones is currently exhibiting work in the group show ‘as far as the eye can see’ at Noosa Regional Gallery in Queensland. This show focuses on works by prominent Australian printmakers and the way that they investigate their local landscapes, celebrating Australia’s unique and varied geography. Jones’ work The Bird Agents (2016) is a large installation of steel plate etchings installed in a grid reaching from floor to ceiling.

Jones will be delivering an artist’s talk this SATURDAY 22 September at 10AM, followed by a 4 hour experimental drawing workshop. Curated by Rilka Oakley, ‘As far as the eye can see’ will be on until 14 October 2018 at Noosa Regional Gallery after a two-year regional tour.
