Liam Garstang curates group show ‘Unknown Scripture’ at Delmar Gallery

March 8, 2019

Curated by Liam Garstang, ‘Unknown Scripture’ explores personal and communal relationships to religiosity and ritual, realities and unrealities, and societal truths and norms. The group show opens next Saturday 16 March at Delmar Gallery from 3-5PM and features the work of seven artists.

Eugene Choi, Georgia Frew, Liam Garstang, Robin Hungerford, Harley Ives, Richard Kean and Sara Oscar express their particular relation to these themes through allegory, conjecture, mathematical forms and subjectivity. Liam has brought together artists that cross multiple disciplines and curated works that range from 2011 to new iterations of ongoing projects. In ‘Unknown Scripture’, each artist investigate the potential of altered states of consciousness and the structures through which we build belief and memory. Artists talks will be held on Saturday 29 March at 3PM.
