DANI MARTI finalist in the Alice Prize

April 29, 2020

Dani Marti’s dazzling work ‘Dust (stone)’ is a finalist in the Alice Prize National Contemporary Art Award. This year is the 50th anniversary since the Alice Springs Art Foundation was formed and the Prize was first held. The reflective surface of ‘Dust (stone)’ flirts with the viewer’s perception, suggesting the little particles of dust that float in space. Marti reminds us that “All dissolves into particles of flickering light, even stones.”
