Beat Zoderer awarded Willy-Reber Art Prize and in Kunsthalle Weishaupt collection show

October 19, 2018

The work of Swiss artist Beat Zoderer will feature in the upcoming group exhibition ‘Ausgang offen’ [Exit open], which presents works that have recently joined the Kunsthalle Weishaupt collection in Ulm, Germany. This exhibition deals with the use of geometric forms and their illusionistic effects in modern and contemporary painting and sculpture. Beat employs hardware store materials in spontaneous and energetic assemblages, creating sculptures and large-scale installations that play on the conventions of constructivism. ‘Ausgang offen’ will open this SUNDAY 21 October and continue until 6 October 2019. We are thrilled to also announce that Beat had been awarded the Willy Reber Art Prize for 2018, a prestigious grant from the Willy Reber Foundation based in Chur, Switzerland.
