Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences presents Julian Day’s 24-Hour Choir

September 2, 2017

As part of the ongoing, collaborative project ‘Super Critical Mass’, Julian Day will direct a choir of volunteers in a 24-hour performance. The choir will perform a wordless chorus across an entire day in the Rotunda on Observatory Hill. This durational performance will reflect on the political past of the Rocks and explore the unique aural and spatial qualities of the site. ‘Super Critical Mass’, founded by Day and Luke Jaaniste in 2007, aims to create intangible experiences that touch on the relational properties of sound, space and society.

Event dates: 02.09 – 03.09.17, 1pm – 1pm
