“The 2015 UN Climate Change Conference kicks off today in Europe. And for the world leaders in attendance, including Malcolm Turnbull, there is a lot at stake. They are hoping to establish a binding global agreement on emissions reduction. And all over Paris – from the conference site to the city centre – artists are getting involved. Australian artist Janet Laurence is there with an installation called Deep Breathing (Resuscitation for the Reef), which examines the impact of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef. The exhibition is part of the ‘Artists 4 Paris Climate 2015’ initiative and is currently on show at the Musuem d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris.”
